Introduction

Here we are, just right before Christmas, your favourite Linux distribution got a new look! Discover it!

On the behalf of our Crew, I am proud to announce the first public release of the new Sabayon Linux Portal. A completely rewritten from scratch interface with the aim to improve the interaction between us and YOU. This is just the beginning of what we have in the oven for Christmas, like every year, we love cooking wonderful cakes (also known as "releases"). So, if you feel our efforts are worth a donation, please do it now! If you think this is not enough, come back here in January, just to say two (read: teaser), Instant Messaging, Blogging. If you feel happy, drop a line here below. If you feel more than happy, drop two. Here is a list of cool things you can try out, better if logged in (some features are hidden otherwise).

Hey, what can I say. Started with SL in its infancy while having nothing to do as a retired old man and I've been here ever since. Fabio again I sit and wait for my Christmas present and ole Santa hasn't let me down yet! Now I'm like a six year old kid sitting here waiting for old Santa (Fabio) to get to me next and lo and behold I see you on the way (4.0)! Thanks again for a product that has me waiting like an old man in a hooker house, "I ain't going no wheres yet". Thanks guys for another job well done and look for my PayPal donation again this year. Another friendly suggestion. Change : Do not paste sensible data...." to "Do not paste sensitive data....." on bottom of paste page.

Dear bearded Italian holyman. As you know from my dreams I am really looking forward to the release of Sabayon the great No4. I know you can hear me in my dreams cause the website looks just like I saw it. Just to be on the safe side I left you a small donation (may I suggest all you readers do the same). Not in the form of cookies and milk for you and your reindeers this year, but with a nice cheque for you to do your thing. (overcoming crisis and all that) I hope you enjoy and a merry christmas allready to you and your little helpers.

I love you guys! (and girls too, if there are) You're my favourite Italians :) The new portal is very stylish. I have yet to discover what cool new stuff you put in it. In any case, it looks very good and I'm sure it will be great, just like everything you do! Thank you for your great work, really! You are amazing. You should make some kind of certificate for the people that donate. It's nice to show it off on your website, for example.

I am sorry, but the portal is maybe not that flashy, but navigating through is less comfortable. I like the idea and the features though.
